About John Prowse:

John is a European businessman who has worked in both the local government and private sectors.

Whilst working in the Town Clerks Department of the Corporation of the City of London, John led a thirty strong productivity improvement team to deliver significant projects inside the COL Police and at the Central Criminal Court for which he was awarded the Freedom of the city of London.

In the private sector John has held executive positions with a number of companies, including Operations Director for Hays, Managing Director at TDG Data Storage and President of Iron Mountain Europe. Whilst at Iron Mountain John was responsible for 18 countries and delivered growth in turnover, both organically and through acquisitions, from £18m in 2000 to £500m in 2007. Turning the European business into the highest performing EBITDA part of Iron Mountains global business.

Subsequently as CEO for Connaught and then Green Plc he was responsible for growing those businesses from zero turnover to £200 million, in the case of Connaught, and then for Green Plc to £30m.

John moved into consultancy in 2013 working inside Client organisations such as Ryder, OCS, Bournemouth Council, Wincanton, Oasis and Crown & Sky on an interim basis to deliver performance improvement.

In 2019, John Prowse embarked on a new project as CEO, Co-Founder and owner of Jalken Consulting.
